Just after grad school, I took a trip to Alaska. I rode the Alaskan Railroad north from Anchorage and hiked through Denali National Park by myself for two weeks. But first, I stayed two nights in Anchorage at a hostel so I could see a bit of the city. And there at the hostel was this old guy. Like, 40s old.
